SeraPool Olympic™ is a complete porcelain system for deck-level and overflow pools: finger-grip overflow edge tile with matching corners, slip-resistant deck tile, step treads, depth markers, pool tile, mosaics, trims, porcelain overflow channels and gutter grates. The line is FINA approved and is built around the 5x10 in. (12.5x25 cm) module used for lane lines and competition layouts.

SeraPool Olympic is stocked at the factory overseas, not in a US warehouse. Every project order is put together at the factory from your selections and shipped directly to the job site, with crates marked for your project. How the Overflow Edge Works

One Section, from Pool Wall to Deck

On a deck-level pool, the finger-grip edge tile forms the overflow lip and gives swimmers a firm handhold at the water line. Water spills over it into the gutter behind, which is lined with porcelain channel and covered with a porcelain or ABS gutter grate, then finished with slip-resistant deck tile.

Because every piece in that section is porcelain, the edge stays the same color and texture all the way around the pool, with no plastic or metal to fade, corrode or come loose. Profiled versions slope toward the gutter, so they install faster with fewer grout joints.

Markings, Murals and Custom Designs

Depth Markers

Send the depths, units and locations your health department requires. Markers are printed on the edge or deck tile that matches the rest of your pool edge.

Fotosera Murals

Choose a standard mural, or have any image printed into porcelain: a family photo, a favorite place such as the Amalfi Coast, a family crest, the family dog, or a hotel, school or club logo.

Mosaic Patterns

Dolphin scenes from single motifs to large group panels, or your own design laid out in 2x2 porcelain mosaic for the pool floor or wall.

The manufacturer reports slip resistance as Pendulum Test Value (PTV) under EN 16165. It does not publish DCOF values (ANSI A326.3). If your project or local code requires DCOF, contact us before specifying.

Installation Guidance

Setting the Edge, Deck and Channels

Substrate & Setting

Waterproof and leak-test the pool shell before tiling.
The manufacturer specifies a C2 cementitious adhesive (EN 12004). In US practice, use an improved modified mortar (ANSI A118.15) rated for submerged use. Back-butter every piece for full coverage.
The overflow edge sets the water level: set it level around the whole perimeter and check with a laser before the adhesive cures.
Set corner pieces first, then work straight pieces toward the middle of each run.

Channels, Deck & Grout

Set overflow channels to the falls on the mechanical drawings so water runs to the outlets.
Slope the deck toward the gutter or deck drains.
Grout no sooner than 24 hours after setting, with a flexible, pool-rated grout.
Plan movement joints per TCNA EJ171.

Product suitability, slip resistance, waterproofing, substrate preparation, drainage, pool chemistry, climate exposure, installation method and local code requirements must be confirmed for each project. Consult qualified design, engineering, waterproofing and installation professionals before final specification.
