Are all Zellige tiles identical?
No. Variation in shade, glaze, edge, thickness, surface texture,
and crazing is expected and is part of authentic handmade Zellige.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes before installation.
Can Zellige be installed on shower walls?
Yes. Zellige may be installed on properly waterproofed shower walls.
The collection is intended for wall use and is not recommended for
shower pans or flooring.
Does glazed Zellige require sealing?
The glossy glazed face generally does not require sealing. Grout,
exposed clay edges, and installation materials may have separate
requirements, so follow the recommendations of the installer and
product manufacturers.
Which grout color should I choose?
Soft white, ivory, or light gray typically creates a quiet,
harmonious appearance. A contrasting grout can create a more
graphic effect. Always test the selected grout with spare tiles first.
How much extra material should I order?
A common allowance is approximately 10–15% for cuts, layout,
selection, and future repairs. Complex patterns or project conditions
may require a larger allowance.
