Honed & filled gives a smooth surface with the natural pores filled; tumbled softens edges and surface for an aged look; brushed & chiseled leaves the pores open with a textured face and hand-chipped edges; filled & polished adds a soft shine. Round-faced pieces are CNC-arched for a wavy, dimensional surface. Cross-cut shows a mottled, cloudy pattern and vein-cut shows linear veining. Scabos varies strongly from piece to piece, so order samples to compare finishes side by side.
