SeraPool Olympic Petit Carre Finger-Grip Overflow Edge Tile 5x10 is the classic competition-pool edge: a 5x10 in. porcelain finger-grip tile that forms the overflow lip at the top of the pool wall, giving swimmers a firm handhold at the water line. It is part of the SeraPool Olympic™ Commercial & Competition Pool Collection, a complete porcelain system of edge tiles, deck tiles, depth markers, pool tile, mosaics, overflow channels and gutter grates for commercial and competition pools.
The rounded front grip is glazed in Cobalt, Light Blue or left Unglazed White, and the top carries the Petit Carre (small-square) slip-resistant texture on both sides of the overflow edge, so the edge reads as a clean colored line around the pool and stays safe underfoot. Matching inside and outside corners keep the grip continuous around every corner of the pool.
How it is used
In a top-overflow (deck-level) pool the edge tile sits on the pool wall with its grip facing the water. Pool water spills over the edge into the overflow gutter behind it, which is covered with a 10 in. gutter grate and finished with 5x10 in. Petit Carre slip-resistant deck tile on both sides. Use the Cobalt grip for a high-contrast lane-pool edge, or Light Blue and Unglazed White for a softer look.

Installation notes
- Set on a waterproofed, leak-tested pool shell with a C2 (EN 12004) cementitious adhesive; in US practice an improved modified mortar (ANSI A118.15) rated for submerged use. Back-butter every piece for full coverage.
- The edge sets the water level: set it level along the whole perimeter and check with a laser before the adhesive cures.
- Start corners first with the matching inside and outside corner pieces, then work the straight pieces toward the middle of each run.
- Grout no sooner than 24 hours after setting with a flexible, pool-rated grout; plan movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
