Vanilla Onyx & Green Onyx Checkerboard Tile — 4×4 — Polished

Vanilla Onyx & Green Onyx Checkerboard Tile — 4×4 — Polished combines Vanilla Onyx and Green Onyx in an alternating two-color layout. The listed dimensions refer to each individual loose square tile, not to a preassembled sheet or full checkerboard module. Natural translucency, veining, mineral movement, and shade variation should be blended during layout.

Format and specifications

Format: Installer-Created Two-Color Checkerboard
Individual tile sizes: 4×4-inch individual square tiles
Finish: Polished
Materials: Vanilla Onyx and Green Onyx
Pattern: Alternating loose square tiles installed in a straight or diagonal checkerboard
Coverage: Coverage depends on equal alternating quantities of both colors
Sale unit: Confirm the required equal quantity of each color before ordering

Applications

Recommended for interior feature walls, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, bathroom walls, properly waterproofed shower surrounds, borders, decorative panels, and qualified low-traffic floors. Because the pairing contains polished onyx, confirm slip resistance and project suitability before floor use. Not intended as default shower-pan material or for submerged installations.

Installation and care

Plan the full two-color quantity before ordering and dry-lay both materials to balance shade, translucency, veining, and pattern direction. Use premium white non-staining mortar approved for light marble and translucent onyx. Maintain consistent joints, seal before and after grouting where appropriate, and clean only with pH-neutral stone products.
